Driver - Charlotte

Junk King is hiring Drivers and Junk Removal Technicians who like working hard, helping people, and being part of a team.

This is not just a driving job. Driving is one part of the role, but our best team members are also part customer service, part sales, part logistics, and part problem-solver.

Every day is different. You’ll help customers clean out homes, apartments, garages, offices, and businesses by removing unwanted items and making the process easy. You’ll also learn how to communicate with customers, provide on-site estimates, manage truck space, work efficiently with your teammate, and deliver a great customer experience.

What You’ll Do

• Drive or ride in a Junk King truck to customer homes and businesses.
• Safely remove items such as couches, mattresses, furniture, appliances, and household junk.
• Work directly with customers to understand their needs and help solve their problem.
• Provide on-site estimates and explain pricing clearly.
• Work with your teammate to manage the route, truck space, timing, and job flow.
• Collect payment once the job is complete.
• Represent Junk King with professionalism, energy, and respect.

What We’ll Train You On

You do not need junk removal experience. We will train and coach you across the key parts of the job, including:

• Customer service and communication
• On-site estimating and pricing
• Sales and negotiation
• Truck operations and safety
• Job logistics and route flow
• Teamwork and leadership habits

Our goal is to help you build skills that make you better on the truck, better with customers, and better prepared for future opportunities.

Job Requirements

• Must be able to independently lift 75 lbs.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• No CDL required.
• Must be comfortable working directly with customers.
• Must be dependable, team-oriented, and safety-minded.

Pay & Benefits

The base wage range for this position is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Team members also have the opportunity to earn cash tips, which can add an additional $4 to $6 per hour. We also provide monthly incentive bonus for additional earning potential.
